Herman and the Hammer
Team Size: 4
Development: September 2009 – December 2009
Role: Lead Designer
Herman and the Hammer was a short game that was built using the Unreal Tournament 3 editor, shortly before UDK was released. Inspired in part by the unreleased Wii game Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Herman and the Hammer is an original IP in which the player controls Herman, a large, mentally unstable farmer whose aim is to destroy everything he can. The game would feature a destructible environment as Herman attempts to destroy the surrounding countryside, all in the effort to wrangle the fabled two-headed cow. The game reached Alpha in 4 months before production was halted.
